Snowflake Fantasy Upcycled Vintage Faux Pearls & Crystals Hair Bobby

Lovely and oh so feminine hair pin fashioned from a single vintage faux pearls and crystals earring. In the center is a cluster of satin soft lustrous faux pearls and iridescent AB aurora borealis crystal beads topped with peaked goldtone bead caps. In turn, the center is ringed with more iridescent AB aurora borealis crystal beads that are capped with tiny spiral twist goldtone bead caps. Brand new silver plated bobby pin. Entire piece measures approximately 2-1/2" long by 1-1/4" across. This would be a lovely bridal accessory for a bride to wear on her wedding day.

I collect and sell vintage jewelry, and always there are single earrings along with bits and pieces from pins, brooches, necklaces and bracelets that are simply far too pretty to discard. I've used these pieces for years in unusual collages and mosaics but lately I've taken some of the more striking jewellery pieces and upcycled them into these astonishing hair adornments. Perfect for parties, proms, or anytime you want to add a little finishing kick and bling.... and a wonderful gift item. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation and will never be duplicated.

All findings have been securely fastened to the hair pins, but these pieces should be considered decorative. They are not designed for heavy use to hold hair in place. They are lovely adornments for chignons and for simple hair styles screaming out for a touch of bling and sparkle. They should always be removed before bathing, swimming, and hot-tub lounging....  Treat them gently and they'll give you years of enjoyment.
